I love to create. It shows me things about myself that I might not otherwise have known. It makes me believe I can be somebody… somebody who can make a positive impact on the world.

I have strong opinions on the world and music. I've always admired the way that past musicians in particular, were outspoken, political and true to their word. And I love how fans liked them for that. I want to be seen as someone with opinions that he doesn’t force on others.  I'm not saying that I want to be a political or moral compass… but should I ever build a media profile, authenticity must be at its core. I will always find a way to be me and to remain true to myself.

I want to attract an audience with a ‘genre-fluid and experimental taste’... listeners who care deeply for the level of writing and are willing to support artists bold enough to branch out and experiment. I try to imbue my songs with vulnerability and a sense of emotional release, together with a story of triumph over everyday struggles.

My own favourite contemporary artists include Dominic Fike, Mac Demarco and Mac Miller as well as Sabrina Sterling.
